What counts as one use?
- Live camera guidance
- The first successful suggestion or analysis in an AI camera session counts as one use. Further guidance and final analysis within that same session do not count again. Starting a new AI session starts a new chargeable use.
- Photo-library analysis
- Each successfully analyzed photo counts as one use. A batch counts each photo separately. Starting a new analysis counts again. Ordinary cropping, filters and retouching use no AI quota.
- Failures and retries
- Quota is reserved before processing. A server-confirmed failure releases the reservation. Interrupted reservations are refunded when expired reservations are cleaned up. A successful server result may still count if your device did not receive it. Retrieving the completed result for the same request does not count again.
- Free and member quotas
- Membership uses a monthly total, with no additional daily free allowance. AI used earlier in the month before upgrading counts toward that month's usage. Restoring, reinstalling or switching devices does not grant extra quota.
When does quota reset?
Free quota resets at 00:00 UTC daily; member quota resets at 00:00 UTC on the first day of each calendar month. Account & Membership shows the next reset using your device's date and time settings.

Unused quota does not roll over. A quota reset and an Apple renewal may fall on different dates. Check your current entitlement in the app when membership expires.
Purchase, renewal and restoration
Apple charges your account when you confirm a purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple charges renewal within the final 24 hours. The price and period shown in Apple's purchase confirmation apply.
For a new device or missing membership, sign in to the app account linked to the purchase and tap Restore Purchases in Account & Membership. Both your Apple payment account and the linked app account matter when restoring. Contact support if accounts do not match.
- Cancel renewal in iOS Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions.
- Request a refund through Apple's Report a Problem page. Apple determines eligibility under its applicable rules.
- Deleting the app or app account does not cancel an Apple subscription.
